半导体硅探测器以其响应速度快、灵敏度高、易于集成等优异的性能,成为光子、高能粒子探测的首选探测器,已被广泛地应用于航空航天、医疗检测、高能物理等领域。湘潭大学“高性能硅漂移探测器研究”研究团队在李正教授的带领下,已具备从器件设计、制备和测试等完整的实验条件,已成功研制出包括硅漂移探测器、三维沟槽探测器、硅像素探测器、硅微条探测器、硅像素微条探测器和成像探测器等一系列具有世界领先水平的硅探测器。团队成员主要有李正教授、唐明华教授、曾以成教授、肖永光副教授、朱哲副教授等。

团队负责人李正教授为国家“千人计划”特聘教授,主要从事于硅高能粒子探测器的研制和辐照缺陷的材料与器件物理的工作。在高级别学术刊物发表SCI收录论文350余篇,论文被引用9887次,其中他人正面引用8000余次(截止日期2018年2月)。2005年获BNL Science and Technology奖,是CERN RD39 Collaboration发言人,2012年获美国电气与电子工程师协会(IEEE)颁发的2012年技术创新奖。2017年10月,荣获国务院侨务办公室颁发的“重点华侨华人创业团队”称号。2016年9月,率领航空航天关键新材料及器件产学研用创新团队荣获第六届中国侨届贡献(创新团队)奖。创立的“湘潭大学半导体粒子光子成像探测器研发制作中心”及“湖南正芯微电子探测器有限公司”是目前国内唯一一家研制大面积硅漂移探测器的研究机构与企业,研发出的大面积硅漂移探测器和新型高性能三维硅探测器,将填补国内多项技术空白,极大地促进了国内硅探测器的相关技术走向国际科学前沿。

团队目前在读研究生共19人,其中博士研究生4名,硕士研究生15名。团队先后承担了973计划前期研究专项、国家重点研发计划、湖南省重点研发计划等科研项目。已在Acta Materials、ACS Appl、2D Materials、Applied Physics Letters、Advanced Materials Research、AIP Advance、Semiconductor Science and Technology、Nuclear Instrument and Methods in Physics Research Section A -- Accelerators Spectrometers Detectors and Associated Equipment发表SCI论文共37篇。授权及在审专利共22项。在社会效益方面,课题组与湘潭市高新区开展了深度合作,2018年入选湖南省5个100重大专项,对社会进步发展的作用获得了省、市科技部门的认可。

 

Silicon detectors are widely used as the best suitable detector for the detection of photons and high-energy particles in aerospace, medical detection, high energy physics experiments and other fields due to their high response speed, high sensitivity, easy to integrate and other excellent performances. The research team of "High-Performance Silicon Drift Detector" at Xiangtan University, under the leadership of Professor Zheng Li, already has complete experimental conditions such as device design, fabrication and testing. The team has successfully developed a series of silicon detectorswith the world's leading level, including Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) and 3D Trench Electrodes Detector, Silicon Pixel Detector, Silicon Strip Detector, Silicon Stripixel Detector, Imaging Detector.Currently, the team is composed of 9 full-time members, including 3 professors, 2 associate professor, 1 senior engineer and 3 lecturers.

The team leader, Prof. Li, is mainly engaged in researching high – energy particle detectors and the physics of materials and devices. In the high - level academic publication, more than 350 papers were published in high-level academic journals, with 9887 citations, including 8000 positive citations by others (as of February in 2018). Prof. Li won BNL science and technology Award CERN RD39 collaboration spokesperson in 2005 and Technological Innovation Award issued by American Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2012. In October 2017, Prof. Li won the title of "key overseas Chinese Entrepreneurship team" issued bythe Office of overseas Chinese Affairs of the State Council. Prof. Li Lead the Innovation team of key New Materials and Devices in Aeronautics and Astronautics and won the 6th China overseas Chinese contribution (Innovation team) Award in September of 2016.At present, Prof. Li Zheng's high resisitivity Si detector Lab and processing facility are unique in China -- there are no similar research institute and enterprises in China researching large area Silicon drift chamber detectors apart from Center for Semiconductor Particle and Photon Imaging Detector development and fabrication in Xiangtan University, which is founded by Prof. Li, and Hunan ZhengxinMicroelectronic detector Company. Li Zheng and his team have produced large area Silicon Drift Detectors and new high-performance Three-Dimensional Silicon Detectors, which will fill in many technical gaps in China to promote the domestic Silicon detector technology.

The team currently has 19 graduate students, including 4 Ph. D. students and 15 master students and has undertaken 4 key projects, including the national key research and innovation program, the military Commission Program, 973 Program, and the Hunan Province key research and innovation program.The research group has published 37 SCI papers in Acta Material, ACS Appl, 2D Materials, Applied Physics Letters, Advanced Materials Research, AIP Advance, Semiconductor Science and Technology, Nuclear Instrument and Methods in Physics Research Section A -- Accelerators Spectrometers Detectors and Associated Equipment and other SCI journals and applied for 22 patents. In terms of social benefits, Prof. Li's research group and Xiangtan High-tech Distric have carried out deep cooperation. In 2018, the research group has been selected as one of five 100 major projects in Hunan Province and the role of promoting the social progress and development has been recognized by the provincial and municipal science and technology departments.
